trustENGINE Additional Terms of Service & Conditions of Use

Thank you for using trustENGINE! By using trustENGINE or any of its related services, features, and functionality (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the ConnectChief Terms of Service, the trustENGINE Acceptable Use Policy, the ConnectChief Privacy Policy, as well as these additional terms and conditions (collectively the "Terms of Service"). It’s important for you to read each of these documents, as they form a legal agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service. They establish what you can expect from us as you use trustENGINE and what we expect from you.

trustENGINE is part of the ConnectChief family of software tools. We built trustENGINE to enable the free flow of useful information to users about the products and services around them. trustENGINE reviews help your business stand out. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service and all terms and conditions set forth. If you do not accept the terms of this Agreement, then you may not use our services.

If these trustENGINE additional terms conflict with ConnectChief Terms of Service, these trustENGINE Terms will prevail insofar as they regulate the specific subject hereof. However, for any matter not expressly established in these terms, the provisions of the ConnectChief Terms of Service will be fully applicable and shall govern. In this agreement, the words “including” and “include” mean “including, but not limited to.”

Definitions

  • Our Platform: Collectively means our services offered through the use of www.ConnectChief.com website, our mobile, and other software applications.

Your trustENGINE Account

  • You are responsible for your actions on trustENGINE, so secure your user account and keep your password safe at all times.
  • You may create a trustENGINE business profile for a place of business provided that you have verified that a business profile does not already exist for that specific business.
  • You may claim an unclaimed business as your trustENGINE business profile only if you are the owner or a legally authorized representative of the business entity.
  • You agree to comply with the trustENGINE Acceptable Use Policies.

Your Business Profile

  • You are responsible for the entity listed as your "trustENGINE Business Profile."
  • You must comply with applicable laws and industry best practices when operating and promoting your business, including obtaining all necessary licenses and approvals.
  • Ensure that your content is correct, up to date, and complete.
  • Supply all required disclaimers, warnings, and notices.
  • Comply with all policies applicable to trustENGINE Services.

Moderation of Your Content

  • ConnectChief is not responsible for your trustENGINE business profile or the entity listed on your profile.
  • Once you’ve claimed it, we have the right, but not the obligation, to moderate the content you provide using trustENGINE Services.
  • If we determine any part of your trustENGINE business profile is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, we may choose not to display your content or temporarily suspend your trustENGINE business profile.

Claiming Ownership of a Business Profile

  • You must be the owner or an authorized representative of the business entity with the authority to legally bind others on behalf of the entity.

Authorized Users

  • You must bind any users who manage or later own your trustENGINE business profile to these terms before making them managers or owners of your trustENGINE business profile.

License

  • This license covers the basic information about your entity that you provide if that information is protected by intellectual property rights.
  • You give ConnectChief a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display, distribute, and create derivative works of the basic business profile information about your entity.
  • Other ConnectChief service users are granted the right to access and use, including editing, that information as permitted under the applicable ConnectChief Terms of Service.
  • All other content (such as business photos) is licensed under the ConnectChief Terms of Service.

Other ConnectChief Products or Services

  • You may be provided access to other products and services within your account. These products and services may be subject to their own separate terms and policies.

Questions, Complaints, or Appeals

  • If you have any questions or complaints regarding your trustENGINE profile, you can go to our Help Center or contact us.
  • If you believe that your access to trustENGINE Profile has been suspended or terminated in error, you can appeal.

About These Terms

  • We may modify these terms from time to time.
  • We’ll post notice of modifications on the policies section of our platform.
  • Changes will not apply retrospectively and will become effective the day after they are posted.
  • In most cases, we will strive to provide no less than 15 days' notice if required by applicable law.
  • If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must discontinue your use of our services.
