trustENGINE Acceptable Use Policy

Thank you for using trustENGINE! By using trustENGINE (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the ConnectChief Terms of Service, the trustENGINE Acceptable Use Policy, the ConnectChief Privacy Policy, as well as any additional applicable terms and conditions (collectively the "Terms of Service") that are listed on our policies page. It’s important for you to read each of these documents, as they form a legal agreement between you and ConnectChief regarding your use of the Service.

Our policies play an important role in maintaining a positive experience for all our users. Please follow these policies when using trustENGINE. When we identify a potential policy violation, we may review and take action, including limiting or terminating a user’s access to trustENGINE or the entire ConnectChief platform.

We built trustENGINE to enable the free flow of useful information to users about the products and services around them.

Your Contributions

Your contributions to trustENGINE should accurately represent your experience at the business in question. Where contributions distort truth, our systems will flag or remove content. We may reject your contributions if they are flagged by one or more users or by our systems.

Guidelines for Users

  • Do not post fake or biased reviews. Post only about your genuine (first-hand) experiences at a place or business.
  • trustENGINE is a place of respect. You agree to not use hate speech, disparage others, harass people or businesses, threaten harm, or encourage such activities.
  • You may post about your experiences—negative or positive—but in a respectful manner.
  • Do not post content that is deliberately provocative.
  • Do not post any content that includes private or confidential information—whether yours or anyone else's.
  • Do not post false, inaccurate, or deceptive content. For example, do not post a review aimed at undermining a business or product’s reputation.
  • Do not use trustENGINE to mislead others in any way.
  • Do not impersonate any person, group, or organization.
  • Do not use profanity or obscenity in content you post.
  • Do not post content for advertising or solicitation purposes. The content you post may not feature calls to action or offers for the sale of products or services that are subject to local legal regulations.
  • Do not post any repetitive content or gibberish.
  • Do not post content that may be deemed restricted, illegal, dangerous, or subject to controls and local regulations.

Guidelines for Businesses

  • All the guidelines applicable to users also apply to businesses and their associated persons.
  • It is OK to ask customers for reviews. As long as your review requests comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service, it is acceptable to reach out to customers and ask them to share their feedback on trustENGINE.
  • You may incentivize customers to post reviews ONLY if the review clearly discloses that the user was incentivized to do so.
  • It is NOT OK to pay, incentivize, or encourage a user to post any content that does not represent a genuine first-hand experience.
  • You may not discourage or de-incentivize users from posting negative reviews.
  • You may not encourage, offer incentives, or make any quid pro quo arrangement with a user to remove negative reviews.
